World of Women Organization is sponsoring Staten Island's 1st Dog Walk to support victims of Domestic Violence abuse. Domestic Violence is the #1 crime in our community. We have learned that there are insufficient programs and support for victims and their children. This is a cause that WOW is committed to as well as to the welfare of sheltered and abused animals.
Bring the whole family to an exciting day at the Historical Cam...p Pouch! Fun contests, food and beverages for both canine and human. Dog vendors from all over will be on hand with the latest in canine couture, as well as toys, trainers and Doggie specialists. Dress your pooch up and enter the Best Costume Contest.
Time: 10am registration, 11am Kickoff
Admission: $20 for 1 pet, 1 walker ;
Additional walker $5
Each registered Pup will receive certificate, photo and special goodie bag loaded with doggie treats and surprises
